Chapel Missions India - Calvary Chapel Boise

God has opened a way to reach one of the neediest places on
our planet—the slums of India. Quite simply, it has been through the
 children.

Chapel Missions India began its outreach to the children in 1989
shortly after a man who had been raised in a Christian orphanage in
India came to Boise, Idaho, to visit his sister who had been adopted
by Americans. Looking for direction in his life, L. Gunasekaran wan-
dered into Calvary Chapel Boise. He soon discovered that many in
the fellowship had been making sacrifices to reach with the gospel.
Guna became deeply convicted of his own lack of concern for the
people of his nation and, under the auspices of Calvary Chapel
Boise, Guna returned to India and began to reach out to the slum
dwellers.

As God has multiplied the number of Indians who have given
their lives to Christ, tremendous opportunities have opened up.
